1. Introduction

Jodihub is operated by Hecta Solutions Private Limited, which publishes the app on Google Play as "Hectasolutions" and on the Apple App Store as "Hecta Solutions Private Limited". This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we collect and use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have when you use our website and apps. By creating an account or using Jodihub, you agree to this policy and consent to the processing it describes. You can withdraw your consent at any time, as described in Section 9.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us

Name and contact information, date of birth and gender, profile details you choose to provide (which may include religion, community, education, occupation, family details and partner preferences), photos and media you upload, messages you send, and communication preferences.

Information collected automatically

Device and browser information, IP address and location data, usage data and preferences, a device token used to send push notifications, and cookies and similar technologies.

3. Children's Data

Jodihub is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from a child. If we learn that we hold a minor's data, we delete it. Read our Child Safety Standards.

4. Photos and Media

Photos and other media you upload are stored so we can show your profile to other members and review content that is reported to us. We may remove media that breaks our Terms or our Child Safety Standards. When you delete your account, photos are removed from active systems as described on the Delete Account page.

6. Who We Share Information With

Other members. Your profile, including your photos, is visible to other members of Jodihub.

Service providers. Amazon Web Services hosts the service and stores account and profile data, including photos. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager measure how the website is used. Microsoft Clarity records how visitors use the website so we can improve it. Tawk.to provides the support chat. Google Firebase delivers push notifications.

Authorities. We may disclose information to law enforcement or other authorities where the law requires it, or to protect the safety of others, including to report child sexual abuse material.

Business changes. If Jodihub is merged with or acquired by another company, your information may be transferred to it, and we will tell you.

We require our service providers to give your information the same or equal protection to the one described in this policy.

Jodihub is currently free to use and does not take payments. If we introduce paid features, we will update this policy before we do, and tell you what payment information is collected and by whom.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect your account, and analytics cookies through Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.

You can block cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies may stop sign-in from working.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

• Encryption of sensitive data
• Regular security assessments
• Access controls and authentication
• Employee training on data protection

9. Retention and Deletion

We keep personal data while your account is active. After you delete the account, your profile, photos, matches, and messages are removed from active systems. Some records are kept longer: financial records up to 7 years, legal records up to 3 years, and audit records up to 1 year.

To delete your account, use Settings → Delete Account in the app, or follow the steps on the Delete Account page. To withdraw your consent, delete your account or write to grievance@hecta.ai.

10. Your Rights under the DPDP Act

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request erasure, withdraw consent at any time, nominate another person to exercise your rights, and raise a grievance with the Grievance Officer. If your grievance is not resolved, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

11. Grievance Officer

For grievances about the service or your personal data, contact the Grievance Officer. We acknowledge a grievance within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days.
